Tuesday, our last day and farewell. 😢

All the students have carried their lugagge to school where we have all met for a last activity and for the group picture.

In the activity, there were two parts. In the first part, the students had to sit with their Dutch partners and write a letter together to the teachers in which they had to answer some questions about the exchange. In the second activity, it was a letter to their partner and then they had to exchange it.

After this, we have taken our suitcases and we had headed to the coach to Amsterdam. There were hugs, hand shakings, kisses and some tears... But with our meeting again in April in our minds!

At Schiphol airport we have had just half an hour of free time after the check-in, time just to have a quick lunch.

Monday

Our students have had a guided city walk in Nijmegen in the morning. They had to be guided by their Dutch partners and they had to visit the Grote Markt, Stevenskerk, De Waagh, Valkhof and Hema.

As it was very cold, their walk was quite fast and they ran to MacDonalds to keep warm!

After that, they colud have their lunch and we all went to Triavium, the ice-skating rinks. They have had a really good time as you see on the pictures. Some found it a bit difficult at the very beginning, but it was not that difficult!

Family day

Today our students have been veeeeeeery busy. Some of them have even worked with their partners and helped them to deliver newspapers.

Some families have prepared some really nice trips to Amsterdam, to Rotterdam, to Arnhem, to the zoo, etc. 

Some other students have spent their day in the city center with their partners and friends. Others have been to the bowling center or to play pool. We have very good stories and pictures! Look at them!

And the teachers have been to Arnhem to visit the Bridge of the battle of Arnhem of the 2nd World War and then we have visited the Christmas Market. It's been really interesting (and cold!)
